Boeing Lands $20B Contract for Sixth-Gen Carrier Stealth Fighter

The U.S. Navy has awarded Boeing a $20 billion contract to develop the sixth-generation F/A-XX Strike Fighter, a crucial component of the Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) program.

Boeing beat out Northrop Grumman for the contract, which includes procurement of multiple test aircraft for ground and airworthiness testing. The company has stated that it is ready to execute this critical program, backed by decades of work and game-changing innovations.
