Boeing Lands $2.38 Billion Contract for 22 More F-15EX Fighters

Boeing has secured a significant contract from the U.S. Department of War to manufacture 22 more F-15EX aircraft for the U.S. Air Force, with the deal worth $2.38 billion.

The latest award reinforces the importance of the F-15EX's capabilities, which include an all-glass touchscreen cockpit and advanced mission systems, providing unparalleled range, speed, and payload.

Boeing is committed to delivering this critically important aircraft to the U.S. Air Force, said Christina Upah, Boeing F-15 program vice president, adding that it will strengthen the nation's ability to project power and stay ahead of emerging threats around the world.

The contract award brings the total number of F-15EX aircraft under contract to 120, with Boeing now under contract for full production of Lots 1 through 7. The company plans to deliver Lot 3 aircraft through the remainder of the year and continue to work closely with the U.S. Air Force and the Department of War to increase the F-15EX production rate to two aircraft per month.
