Boeing Lands Major Deals Ahead of Q3 Earnings
Boeing Company BA secured two significant agreements this week, including a multi-billion-dollar U.S. Navy fighter contract and a major freighter order from Ethiopian Airlines.
The F/A-XX program award marks Boeing's second sixth-generation fighter selection, following the U.S. Air Force's award of the F-47 program in 2025.
Ethiopian Airlines ordered eight Boeing 777-8 Freighters and two 777 Freighters, doubling the airline's 777X family order book and making it the first African carrier to order the 777-8 Freighter.
Boeing Global Services also renewed its Integrated Materials Management agreement with Japan Airlines (JAL), allowing Boeing to manage parts ownership and supply-chain responsibilities for the airline.
