Boeing Lands Massive $131 Billion Contract for F-15 Fighter Aircraft Program
The US Department of War has awarded Boeing a massive contract worth $131.23 billion to support the F-15 Eagle Crest program, which oversees the F-15 fighter aircraft fleet.
The contract covers various aspects of the program, including aircraft production, systems integration, upgrades, and sustainment for the US Air Force, Air National Guard, and other Department of War customers.
New organic depot maintenance is also included to keep F-15 aircraft mission-ready. The work will be performed at St. Louis, Missouri, and is expected to be completed by August 2037.
The contract has an ordering period that runs through August 24, 2031, with an option to extend it through August 24, 2036. It also covers Foreign Military Sales to several countries, including Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Poland.
