The US Air Force has awarded Boeing a massive contract worth up to $131.23 billion for F-15 fighter production, modernization, and maintenance through 2037.

The contract allows the Air Force to place orders over time rather than buying a fixed number of aircraft at signing, with an option to extend until 2036.

The framework combines new production, upgrades, retrofits, sustainment, and depot support into a single contract for the Air Force, the Air National Guard, and foreign buyers.

Boeing will perform the work in St. Louis, with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, as the contracting activity.
