Boeing Locks Down Korean Air Deal Worth $36.2 Billion

Boeing recently secured a $36.2 billion order from Korean Air for the 737 MAX, 787-10, and 777X variants. The deliveries of these aircraft are not expected to begin until the early 2030s.

This order is part of Boeing's existing backlog, which already exceeds 6,200 aircraft valued at a record $597 billion. The company's total backlog stands at $715 billion.

Boeing's commercial backlog and recent order from Korean Air may not have an immediate impact on the company's earnings until the 2030s. However, it does provide a boost to Boeing's widebody roadmap, which has faced execution credibility issues.
