Boeing Makes Final Contract Offer to SPEEA Union
Boeing has made its final contract offer to the SPEEA union, which represents about 17,000 engineers and technicians at the company. The new proposal includes a 10% wage increase effective October 16, as well as additional guaranteed increases of up to 6% in 2028, 2029, and 2030.
The offer also revises language regarding work-from-home arrangements and imposes overtime limits for professional unit members. SPEEA's negotiation team is recommending that its membership support the new contract, which will be sent to the bargaining team on Thursday for review.
A member ratification vote has not yet been scheduled, but a strike could occur if a new contract isn't finalized by October 6. Boeing has already begun conducting its strike contingency plan, with about half of SPEEA's membership working in Everett.
