Boeing Manager and Award-Winning Engineer to Speak at SC State
Stacey Hill, a manager at The Boeing Company and a 2021 Black Engineer of the Year award winner, will speak at South Carolina State University on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The event, part of the College of Business and Information Systems' Executive Speaker Series, will take place at noon in the fourth-floor auditorium of Belcher Hall.
Hill currently leads Boeing’s GTA Enterprise Talent Engagement and Events team. Over her 10-year tenure at Boeing, she has managed teams in various roles, including facilities asset management, supply chain, and talent acquisition. Her extensive career spans over 20 years, with previous roles at the U.S. Postal Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Microsoft Corp.
Hill holds bachelor’s degrees in financial planning/business administration and interior architecture/art history from the University of Alabama, as well as an MBA with a concentration in human resources management from City University of Seattle. She has been actively involved in volunteer leadership roles at Boeing, including diversity and inclusion recruitment and mentorship programs.
Recognized for her leadership, Hill was nominated for a 2023 Women of Color in STEM award and was a 2023 Distinguished Alumni Malone Award finalist at the University of Alabama. Her work focuses on mentoring and developing the next generation of leaders, including her role as president of the University of Alabama Black Alumni Association.
