Boeing Plane Loses Speed Twice on Runway, Takes Off with Barely Any Room Left

A Vietnam Airlines Boeing 787-9 plane experienced two instances of reduced speed on its runway during takeoff at Munich Airport.

The first instance occurred when the acceleration stopped increasing for two seconds, leaving only 91 meters of runway left before the plane took off. However, the plane's speed dropped again just as it was reaching the end of the runway.

Despite this, the plane managed to reach its takeoff speed and lift off into the air. It then circled over Munich for two hours, dumping fuel to reduce its weight before returning to land safely.

The incident raises questions about the safety procedures in place at Munich Airport, particularly with regards to tail strikes during takeoff. A tail strike occurs when a plane's tail scrapes against the runway or ground, which can cause significant damage and put passengers' lives at risk.
