Boeing Safety Dojo Takes Flight at Air Show
Boeing brought its Safety Dojo to the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh air show in July, marking the program's 10th anniversary. The mobile learning lab is a hands-on demonstration of how Boeing helps employees solve real work problems.
The 26-foot trailer was staffed by Environment, Health & Safety specialists and frontline employees who ran short exercises on better body mechanics and ergonomic fixes. Visitors could watch teams try out solutions in a low-risk setting and see whether they worked.
The visit to Oshkosh drew hundreds of thousands of aviation fans, students, suppliers, and community members, many of whom don't usually see Boeing's day-to-day work improvement efforts up close.
