Boeing Secures Approval for Additional 777F Freighters Amid Emissions Rules
Boeing has received approval from the U.S. Transportation Department to build an additional 35 Boeing 777F freighters, exempting it from impending International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) emissions regulations that would have prevented further deliveries beyond 2027.
The new production extension will allow Boeing to meet growing demand in the air cargo market and support customers who rely on the 777F for their logistics needs.
With this approval, Boeing can continue to deliver the 777F freighter to customers until at least 2032.
