Boeing Sees June Deliveries and Orders Surge Amid Production Push

Boeing has reported an increase in aircraft deliveries and orders for June. The company handed over 60 new aircraft, marking the highest number since March, as it attempts to ramp up production of its best-selling models.

The total number of aircraft delivered by Boeing so far this year stands at 266, falling short of Airbus' 316 units. Despite this, Boeing logged orders for 288 aircraft in June, net of cancellations and conversions. The majority of these orders came from Air India's massive 470-jet deal announced earlier this year.

Boeing also secured a significant order from Riyadh Air, a new Saudi carrier, for nearly 40 787 Dreamliners as part of a deal announced in March. When including added planes to its backlog, Boeing's total net orders for the month came in at 305 aircraft.
