Boeing Sells Three Subsidiaries to Archer Aviation
Arcer Aviation Inc. has announced that it will acquire three subsidiaries from The Boeing Company: Wisk Aero, SkyGrid, and Insitu.
The acquisition combines complementary capabilities in autonomy, electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) to create a groundbreaking physical AI platform for aerospace and defense.
The deal brings together nearly two million combined flight hours of expertise from Wisk, SkyGrid, and Insitu with Archer's air taxi, UAS, and AI technologies, positioning the company to deliver an end-to-end physical AI platform across commercial aerospace, defense, and air traffic management.
