Boeing Shares Down 1.6% Amid Ongoing Production Concerns
The shares of Boeing (NYSE:BA) fell by 1.6% during trading on Thursday, reaching as low as $194.40 and last trading at $196.71.
This decrease was accompanied by an increase in the number of traded shares, with approximately 9,537,810 shares changing hands, a rise of 43% from the average daily volume of 6,673,486 shares.
Despite this dip, Boeing's backlog remains strong due to major commercial orders. Turkish Airlines finalized an order for up to 150 737 MAX aircraft, while Biman Bangladesh Airlines ordered 11 additional 787 Dreamliner and 737 MAX jets.
