Boeing Software Glitch Affects Akasa Air's 737 MAX Fleet

Akasa Air has reassured its passengers that its operations remain safe and unaffected by a recent software glitch reported in some Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The issue affects automated flight guidance during a specific landing scenario, according to Boeing.

The airline, which operates 43 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and has orders for another 226 planes scheduled for delivery over the next decade, said it is coordinating with Boeing to address the matter.
