Boeing Starliner Undergoes Redesigns for 2028 Crewed Flight

NASA has announced that Boeing's Starliner spacecraft will undergo redesigns ahead of a crewed flight in 2028. The decision comes after Boeing implemented fixes on Starliner-1, which experienced helium leaks during a test flight.

Dana Weigel, NASA program manager for the space station, confirmed that the issues with Starliner-1 have been addressed.

NASA chief Jared Isaacman stated that Starliner will fly up to five crewed missions to the International Space Station for NASA. These flights are scheduled for 2028.
