Boeing's stock (NYSE:BA) dipped slightly on Wednesday afternoon as investors reacted to news about the company's deliveries. A report from AeroTime noted that Boeing and its rival Airbus (EADSY) both saw an increase in deliveries last month, with Airbus delivering 475 aircraft and Boeing delivering 418. This is a significant change from August 2025, when Airbus had delivered 434 jets and Boeing had delivered 385.

Boeing has seen a 7.38% loss in its share price over the past year. Despite this, analysts have a Strong Buy consensus rating on BA stock, with 17 Buys and one Hold assigned in the past three months. The average BA price target is $274.67 per share, implying 31.8% upside potential.

Boeing is also still in the running to land a contract for the next-generation fighter aircraft, known as the F/A-XX. The United States Navy has allocated $750 million for the contract in 2025 and an additional $1.4 billion this year.
