Boeing Stock Price Drops Amid Disappointing Deliveries
The Boeing Company's stock price fell by 2% on Wednesday, dropping to as low as $206.42 and last trading at $206.6150.
Approximately 4,274,030 shares were traded during the day, a decline of 35% from the average daily volume of 6,612,320 shares.
The stock had previously closed at $210.73.
This dip in price comes as Boeing continues to face challenges in its commercial airline business, with deliveries falling short of expectations in August.
Despite this setback, analysts remain cautiously optimistic about the company's prospects for recovery, citing a positive turnaround in free cash flow and an $880 million U.S. Navy contract that has reinforced Boeing's defense backlog and diversification beyond commercial aircraft.
