Boeing Union Endorses New Contract with Higher Wage Increases
The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) union has recommended that its members approve Boeing's new contract offer. The four-year agreement includes higher general wage increases than the initial offer, which was rejected by SPEEA members on August 21.
The Bargaining Unit Councils for SPEEA's Professional and Technical units stated that the offers 'meet most of the needs of the members' in a statement. This development follows the contract agreement reached between Boeing and its engineering union this month.
