Boeing Wins $2.38 Billion Contract for Additional F-15EX Eagle IIs
The US Department of War awarded Boeing a $2.38 billion contract on September 29, 2026, for 22 additional F-15EX Eagle IIs for the US Air Force.
This order comes as the US air power has shifted its priorities back to the F-15EX, which was previously relegated behind the F-35A.
The limitations observed in Iran during Operation 'Epic Fury' have led the US Air Force to reassess its F-15EX requirements and also those for the F-22, pending the future F-47.
