Boeing Wins $2.38 Billion Contract for Additional F-15EX Fighters
The U.S. Department of War has awarded Boeing a $2.38 billion contract for 22 additional F-15EX fighters, bringing the total number of aircraft under contract to 120.
The order covers production Lots 1 through 7 and follows Boeing's recent delivery of F-15EX-22, the first aircraft under the Lot 3 contract.
Boeing plans to continue Lot 3 deliveries through the remainder of the year and is working with the Air Force and the Department of War to increase production to two aircraft per month.
