Boeing Wins $562M Contract for Navy's Unmanned Refueling Aircraft
The U.S. Navy has awarded Boeing a $562 million contract for the production of the MQ-25A Stingray, an unmanned aerial refueling aircraft designed to support carrier operations.
The contract covers three MQ-25A aircraft in Lot 1, as well as funding for long-lead components needed for three additional aircraft planned under Lot 2. Initial deliveries are expected to begin in 2029.
This award follows the Navy's decision in May to move the MQ-25A program into its production and deployment phase, marking a transition from development and testing towards operational fielding.
