Boeing Wins $636M Apache Contract Boosting Defense Business
Boeing has secured a $636.11 million contract modification to provide logistics support for US Army Apache helicopter airframe repairs. This brings the total value of the contract to approximately $1.13 billion.
The modification covers support for Apache airframe components, including system components, specialized consumables, test equipment, obsolescence management and supply-chain support. Work will be carried out in Mesa, Arizona, and is expected to run through April 30, 2029.
The award adds to a strengthening defense pipeline for Boeing, which recently announced framework agreements with Boeing and RTX aimed at increasing production of components for the Standard Missile-3 Block IIA and Block IB interceptors. The company's defense business has gained momentum, despite continued execution risks.
