A Delaware Chancery Court has dismissed a derivative suit against Boeing Co. seeking to hold current and former directors and officers accountable for safety and manufacturing issues related to the January 2024 Alaska Airlines door-plug blowout.

The lawsuit, which alleged that board members failed in their oversight of the 737 Max's safety, was filed in response to a series of incidents involving the aircraft.

According to the court ruling, Boeing has won dismissal of the suit, citing a lack of evidence linking the company's directors and officers to any wrongdoing.
