Boeing Wins Record $131B Contract for F-15 Eagle Crest Production
The U.S. Department of War has awarded Boeing a massive $131.23 billion contract to produce F-15 Eagle Crest aircraft, modernize existing ones, and establish depot maintenance capabilities. The contract is for the support of the F-15 Program Office and will be performed at St. Louis, Missouri, with an expected completion date by August 2037.
The ordering period is set to end on August 24, 2031, with an option to extend it to August 24, 2036. The contract involves Foreign Military Sales to several countries including Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Poland.
Fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $343,740 are being obligated at the time of award. This contract was a sole-source acquisition by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
