Boeing Workers Accept New Contract Offers with 10% Pay Hikes
SPEEA members have ratified Boeing's four-year contract offers after initially rejecting them in August. The new agreement includes 10% wage increases for engineers and technicians, effective immediately.
The Professional Unit, representing nearly 13,000 engineers and scientists, approved their contract with a 67.6% yes vote. Members of the Technical Unit, which includes over 4,000 analysts, designers, and technicians, approved their contract with a 53.5% yes vote.
Under the new contract, engineer pay at Boeing is projected to rise from $152,000 to $208,000 over its four-year lifespan. Technician pay will increase from $119,000 to $163,000.
