Boeing's 737 MAX 10 Edges Closer to Certification

Alaska Air has announced that it expects Boeing to receive certification for its 737 MAX 10 this month. The news comes after years of delays and setbacks for the aircraft, which was initially expected to enter service in 2019.

The 737 MAX 10 is a variant of Boeing's popular 737 MAX series, which has been plagued by issues related to the plane's Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS). The MCAS system was responsible for two fatal crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

Boeing has been working to address these issues and obtain certification from regulatory bodies. While Alaska Air expects certification this month, it's unclear when the aircraft will actually enter service.
