Boeing's Space Operations Show Signs of Recovery

Boeing's space operations have had their share of issues in the past, but recent developments suggest the company is back on track. The aerospace giant has completed its order for 13 mPower broadband satellites, with the final three units delivered to the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The satellites will be launched into space later this month on a Falcon 9 rocket, marking the end of Boeing's mPower satellite deal. While early models faced electrical issues that would trip power modules, subsequent deliveries improved, and the buyer SES is reportedly satisfied with the completion of the order.

Boeing also received positive news from Ethiopian Airlines, which is close to finalizing a deal for up to 10 long-haul freighters. The aircraft will be used to establish a new African hub and expand the airline's operations in the region.
