Bomb Threat Forces Delay of London-Bound Flight

A Jet2 flight to London Stansted was delayed after a bomb threat at Tenerife South Airport on Monday. Passengers had already boarded the plane when they were ordered out due to reports of a potential explosive device.

The incident involved flight LS1536, which was scheduled to depart from Tenerife's second-largest airport at 11:20am but took off around 2pm instead. The Boeing 737 landed at Stansted Airport at 5:49pm.

A spokesperson for Jet2 confirmed that customers were asked to disembark the flight due to an incident involving a passenger on board, and that they had since reboarded and continued to their destination as planned.
