Braun Touts Indiana Workforce, Economic Growth in Labor Day Message

Braun pointed out that the state's unemployment rate stands at 3.3%, which is lower than the national average of 4.1%. The governor also noted that Indiana's labor force participation rate is 63.1%, higher than the national rate of 61.4%.

He credited Hoosiers' willingness to work with helping attract companies and investment to the state. Braun cited several major corporate investments, including Rolls-Royce's $1 billion investment in its Indiana manufacturing operations and Caterpillar's expansion in Lafayette.
