Brazil Joins US in RapidSOS Live Video Expansion
RapidSOS has expanded its integration of Apple Emergency SOS Live Video to emergency communications centers in Brazil. This feature allows iPhone users to share live video when requested by dispatchers, enhancing situational awareness and operational control.
The capability is initiated solely by ECC telecommunicators, who decide when video is needed and can manage access by role. Callers retain control to start or stop encrypted sharing with a single tap, ensuring both operational control and privacy protections.
RapidSOS has aggregated data from over 723 million connected devices and serves 23,500+ agencies and one million first responders in 16 countries. The company's international footprint is deepened by the Brazil expansion, which creates a template for further global rollouts of advanced video and AI capabilities.
