Brighton & Hove Albion stunned Premier League leaders Arsenal on Saturday, handing them their first defeat of the season with a dominant 3-0 victory at the American Express Stadium.

Pascal Groß opened the scoring in the 31st minute with a powerful effort from the edge of the box that went in off the post. Charalampos Kostoulas doubled Brighton's advantage just before half-time, firing past goalkeeper David Raya after being found space on the edge of the box.

The hosts extended their lead in the 57th minute when Chema Andrés headed home from Groß's corner, securing a memorable victory for Brighton. Arsenal struggled to cope with the intensity and attacking pressure of their opponents, managing only two shots on target throughout the second half.
