Brighton & Hove Albion dealt Arsenal their first Premier League defeat of the season on Saturday, securing a commanding 3-0 victory at the American Express Stadium.

The Seagulls produced an impressive display of attacking efficiency and defensive organisation to dismantle Mikel Arteta's side, who had arrived with a perfect four-from-four league record.

Brighton took the lead in the 31st minute when Pascal Groß fired an accurate effort into the bottom-right corner after finding space on the edge of the penalty area.

The hosts doubled their advantage just before half-time when Charalampos Kostoulas produced a powerful strike that flew into the bottom-left corner, leaving goalkeeper David Raya with no chance.
