British Airways Ditches A380 Flights to Dubai Amid Regional Instability
British Airways has scrapped its Airbus A380 flights to Dubai for the Northern Winter 2026/27 season, citing reduced demand and regional instability in the Middle East.
The airline will operate a mix of Boeing 787 and 777-200ER aircraft on routes from London Heathrow to Dubai, leaving the A380 off the route entirely.
This move comes as part of British Airways' renewed commitment to the Middle East after months of service suspensions following the outbreak of conflict in Iran.
The airline has also made changes to its A380 cabin configuration, removing 88 economy seats and adding more business suites and premium economy seats.
