Broadridge Adds Salesforce Veteran Tallapragada to Board
Broadridge Financial Solutions is set to welcome Srinivas Tallapragada to its board of directors, replacing outgoing member Amit Zavery. Tallapragada, a former Salesforce executive, brings extensive experience in cloud technology, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, areas increasingly critical to Broadridge’s operations. He spent 14 years at Salesforce, most recently as President and Chief Engineering Officer, and also serves on GoDaddy’s board.
The move comes as Broadridge expands its use of AI and cloud infrastructure to support its financial services. The company processes over eight billion communications annually and supports $18 trillion in average daily trading. Tallapragada’s expertise in managing large-scale enterprise systems is expected to help the board oversee technology-related risks, including cybersecurity and operational resilience.
Broadridge has been integrating AI into its core workflows, moving beyond research to practical applications in financial operations. The company’s involvement in projects like Anthropic’s Project Glasswing highlights the growing need for board-level oversight of AI model risks and governance. Tallapragada’s background in customer success is also seen as valuable, given the importance of seamless integration and regulated automation in financial services.
Zavery, who joined Broadridge’s board in 2019, is stepping down after a period marked by cloud expansion and AI advancements. Broadridge’s CEO Tim Gokey thanked Zavery for his contributions. The nomination of Tallapragada suggests a continued focus on enterprise technology expertise, particularly in engineering, cybersecurity, and customer deployment.
