Brokerage Firms Update Indian Stock Ratings Amid Market Shifts

Major brokerage firms have revised their views on several Indian stocks, issuing fresh buy, sell, and hold recommendations.

The updated calls cover companies across sectors such as metals, automobiles, financials, cement, consumer goods, and defence.

Tata Steel is one of the most significant stock updates. Elara Capital has upgraded Tata Steel to a 'BUY' rating from 'Accumulate', with a target price of Rs 235. However, Goldman Sachs maintains a 'NEUTRAL' rating, while Citi continues to advise selling.

Morgan Stanley has revised its ratings for several stocks, including Maruti Suzuki India, GAIL (India), and Urban Company. It upgraded Urban Company's rating to 'OVERWEIGHT', with a target price of Rs 165, from 'UNDERWEIGHT' previously.
