Buc-ee's Ditches Diet Coke in Fountain Drink Stations
Buc-ee's, a popular travel center chain in the southern United States, has been making headlines for its unique offerings and customer-centric approach. However, a recent visit by TikTok user Kylee Francescon to a Buc-ee's location in Smiths Grove, Kentucky, raised some eyebrows.
In a video that has garnered over 58,000 views, Francescon shows the fountain drink station at the store, which appears to be missing Coca-Cola products. She notes that there are still other name-brand sodas available, but Diet Coke is nowhere to be found.
This development comes as a surprise, given Buc-ee's long-standing agreement with Coca-Cola dating back to 1997. The chain had an exclusivity arrangement with the beverage giant, which meant that all its locations carried Coca-Cola products in their soda fountains. However, it appears that this is no longer the case.
Buc-ee's has been accused of replacing Coca-Cola with their own store-brand sodas, including Buc-ee's Diet Cola. While some fans have expressed their disappointment over the lack of Coca-Cola products, others claim to be satisfied with the options available.
