Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway and Trump Share Surprising Stock Holdings
Warren Buffett and Donald Trump have surprisingly similar investment portfolios, according to recent disclosures from both parties. The two investors share 17 stocks in common, including tech giants Apple (AAPL) and Alphabet Inc. (GOOG), as well as financial companies American Express (AXP) and Bank of America (BAC).
The largest holding for Berkshire Hathaway is Apple Inc., with a value of around $66 billion and representing 22% of assets at the end of the second quarter.
Trump has disclosed trading these stocks numerous times in 2026, with some transactions being purchases and others sales. For example, Trump bought shares of Apple stock worth between $1 to $5 million in March and May.
