Bybit Unleashes Perpetual Options on TradFi Assets
Bybit has launched Perp Options, the world's first options contracts built on traditional financial perpetuals. This innovative product allows traders to access US equity options around-the-clock without leaving their Bybit account.
The debut of Perp Options marks a significant milestone in Bybit's mission to create an inclusive and accessible financial ecosystem. The platform has started with two underlying assets: SpaceX and Nvidia, which are tradable against the USDT stablecoin.
Bybit Perp Options is designed to cater to various types of traders, including crypto-native traders, TradFi options traders, and macro traders. The product also supports fractional lot sizes and portfolio margin, enabling traders to manage risk across asset classes more efficiently.
According to Mike Xue, Head of Bybit Option Business, 'Perp Options is kicking off with space-age ambition and AI-infrastructure potential, but we are looking to expand beyond sectors in coming months to provide our traders with market access to Tesla, QQQ, SOXL, Micron, and more.'
