Bypassing Microsoft Store Region Locks with WinStoreRegion

The Microsoft Store's region locks can be frustrating when you want to install an app that isn't available in your current location. But there's a workaround. WinStoreRegion is a small open-source utility for Windows 10 and later, including Windows 11, which automates the process of changing the region setting.

This allows users to access apps from different regions without manually digging through Settings each time. To use it, simply download the appropriate build from the project's GitHub releases, launch WinStoreRegion.exe, and paste in a Microsoft Store URL or Product ID.

WinStoreRegion then checks roughly 40 major Store markets first and trims the region selector to places where the product appears to be available. If that search comes up empty, Remaining regions can run through the larger list.

This utility won't bypass every kind of geographic restriction, but it handles those tied to Windows' own region setting with minimal fuss.
