CA Water Portal Upgrade Set for September

Central Alabama Water is upgrading its online account system, which will affect customers starting September 6. The current portal will close at 11:59 PM that night, and a new one will go live on Tuesday, September 8 at 8 AM.

The upgrade will not disrupt water service, as the utility's treatment plants and crews will continue to operate normally during the transition. Customers using the new system for the first time will need to verify their account with their Central Alabama Water account number and ZIP code tied to their service address.

Once logged in, customers can create a profile with a username, password, and contact information, set up account preferences, and link additional accounts or add payment methods. The new portal will accept ACH payments from checking or savings accounts, as well as Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards - although American Express is expected to be added later.
