California Thieves Steal Empty Nvidia Trailers Filled with Sand
Nvidia-branded trailers belonging to AI company PlusAI were stolen in California. The thieves broke into a warehouse in Newark, making off with two trailers that contained around 20 tons of sand.
The company uses simulated cargo for research and development, so the actual loss was minimal. 'PlusAI uses simulated cargo in its trailers to support research and development,' said Lauren Kwan, a company spokeswoman.
The trailers were returned intact, along with their high-tech truck cabs. The thieves didn't touch these valuable assets.
