Callan Family Office Doubles Down on Visa with $48 Million Stake

Callan Family Office LLC has significantly increased its stake in Visa Inc. ($V) by 6.6% in the second quarter, according to a recent filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission. The fund now owns 141,136 shares of the credit-card processor's stock after acquiring an additional 8,788 shares during the quarter. This makes Visa approximately 0.9% of Callan Family Office LLC's holdings and its 15th biggest holding.

The company's holdings in Visa were worth $48,423,000 as of its most recent SEC filing. Other institutional investors have also recently added to or reduced their stakes in V. Vanguard Group Inc. lifted its holdings in Visa by 0.7% during the fourth quarter and now owns 160,975,832 shares of the credit-card processor's stock worth $56,455,834,000.

Visa announced a quarterly dividend on Tuesday, September 1st, which will be paid to investors of record on Tuesday, August 11th. The company also has a stock buyback program that allows it to buy back up to 3.6% of its shares through open market purchases.
