Canadian Banks Boost Premium Credit Card Bonuses with Time-Limited Offers

Canadian banks have increased welcome bonuses for premium credit cards this month.

The American Express Platinum card now offers 110,000 points to applicants who meet minimum spend conditions within six months.

The TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite and RBC's Avion Infinite Privilege cards also have elevated bonuses: up to 160,000 rewards points for the TD card and 100,000 points for the RBC card until November 25.

Some promotions expire soon, with some expiring as early as September 9. Credit card applicants must meet minimum spend conditions within three to six months to unlock full value.

The elevated bonuses can be valuable when transferred to airline partners like British Airways or Cathay Pacific, especially during the current 15% bonus window for Asia Miles transfers through October 16.
