Cantor Fitzgerald Sticks to 'Overweight' Rating on UnitedHealth Group
Cantor Fitzgerald has reiterated its 'Overweight' rating for UnitedHealth Group (), setting a price target of $495.00. This implies a potential upside of approximately 27% for shares currently trading at $388.28.
The firm analyzed the upcoming 2027 Stars ratings, which will be released in early October 2026. According to their analysis, only 47% of 4-Star thresholds became more difficult compared to 2026 Stars. This lighter-than-expected movement could mean that UnitedHealth's accelerated Stars program investments may be sufficient.
Cantor Fitzgerald also expressed optimism about the company's Medicare Advantage margin and pricing cycle, stating that their concerns around CAHPS (Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) are misplaced.
