Canucks Ditch Pepsi for Coke at Rogers Arena
The Vancouver Canucks have made a significant change to their concession stand offerings at Rogers Arena. The team has ended its exclusive deal with PepsiCo Canada, which had been in place since 2011. Instead, Coca-Cola products are now available for fans to purchase.
The switch affects not just soft drinks, but also bottled water and sports drinks. Fans can expect to see Dasani, Powerade, and Vitamin Water on the shelves, among other brands.
Prices for non-alcoholic drinks at Rogers Arena remain high, with 500ml bottles of soda costing $7.50 plus tax. Dasani is available for $6.25, while Powerade and Vitamin Water cost $8.50 each. Smart Water will set fans back $9.
The team has also announced that fans are permitted to bring in empty plastic water bottles from outside the arena, which can be refilled at one of several drinking fountains located throughout the venue.
