Caprae Capital Taps Google Vet as Interim Chief of Staff for Leadership Development
Caprae Capital has announced that Eric Nehrlich, former Chief of Staff for Google's Search Ads organization, will join the firm as Interim Chief of Staff. In this role, he will help develop Caprae's leadership team and build its management bench.
Nehrlich spent over a decade at Google, leading business strategy and operations for the Search Ads product organization as it grew past $100 billion in revenue. He will work closely with Founder Kevin Hong on leadership development, organizational structure, hiring and training plans, and helping Caprae's portfolio companies identify the right personnel.
Nehrlich was first introduced to Hong while he was leading a search-fund-backed company. He became an early believer in Caprae when Hong pitched him the concept of building 'cults' rather than just companies. Nehrlich was impressed by Hong's unique approach and vision for Caprae.
As Interim Chief of Staff, Nehrlich will play a central role in helping Caprae build the people and systems required for its next stage of growth. He will help establish clearer operating metrics and management discipline across Caprae's expanding organization and acquisition activities.
