iPhone Delays Hit as Strong Demand Takes Its Toll on Apple's Latest Releases
Apple's latest iPhones have arrived, but for those who missed the first round of pre-orders, getting one now may mean a longer wait.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max were unveiled at Apple's 'Surprise and Shine' event last week, with pre-orders opening soon after. The phones are officially set to go on sale in stores from September 18, but the initial stock is being taken up quickly.
In India, customers ordering the iPhone 18 Pro can currently expect their phones between September 29 and October 6, while those ordering the iPhone 18 Pro Max may have to wait until October 6-11. The US Apple Store is showing similar delays, with an estimated delivery window of September 29 to October 6 for the iPhone 18 Pro and October 6 to October 13 for the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Apple typically releases a limited quantity of new iPhones at launch, and strong demand has pushed back the delivery dates. The main reason appears to be limited initial stock following the opening of pre-orders, rather than any specific production problem.
