Cat Acquires Long-Standing Dealer After Century-Long Partnership

Caterpillar Inc. has announced its intention to acquire John Fabick Tractor Company (Fabick), a long-standing Cat dealer, for over 100 years.

The company serves portions of Missouri, Illinois, the entire state of Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

This acquisition will mark Caterpillar's first completely owned dealership outside of Nippon Caterpillar Ltd. (NCL), the largest Cat dealer in Japan.

Caterpillar Chairman and CEO Joe Creed stated that 'Caterpillar and Cat dealers share a common mission of solving our customers' toughest challenges.'
