CAT Stock Jumps on $3M Workforce Investment in Arkansas

Caterpillar Inc., parent company of CAT stock, announced a $3 million workforce investment in Arkansas. This allocation forms part of its broader five-year, $100 million initiative to strengthen manufacturing and technician talent across several US regions.

The funding will support training programs that prepare Arkansas workers for modern manufacturing and industrial technician jobs. The program aims to connect workforce preparation with current employer requirements, as well as provide hands-on manufacturing opportunities for students in the state.

Caterpillar currently employs over 530 workers in Arkansas, where it operates a major facility in North Little Rock that produces motor graders and other equipment. The company works with 60 suppliers in the state to support its manufacturing operations.
